Dawn Park Police Seek Two Suspects Linked to House Robberies

Dawn Park SAPS is appealing to residents for help locating two suspects linked to house robberies in the area. Police have warned that the suspects may be armed and dangerous. Residents are urged not to approach them.

Police say the suspects operate between 4pm and 9pm. During this time, they allegedly target houses with open or unlocked gates and burglar doors. Their mode of transport is unknown.

One suspect reportedly walks with a limp, while another reportedly has a facial scar and one eye. Dawn Park SAPS supplied 11 Bushbuck Media with a photograph of one suspect, identified by police as Richmore, and authorised its publication as part of the appeal.

Police have warned residents that the suspects should be considered dangerous and should not be approached. Residents are also urged not to attempt to apprehend them.

“If you see them, do not approach. Alert the police immediately,” the alert states.

Dawn Park residents are advised to keep their doors and gates locked and remain vigilant when entering their yards. They should note or record suspicious people or vehicles where it is safe to do so. Residents should contact police immediately if either suspect is spotted.

Residents with information that could assist police are encouraged to contact SAPS. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stop.
